YDDO Denizcilik ‘E-Navigation 2016’ seminar was organized to inform the sector.

The ‘E-Navigation 2016’ seminar organized by YDDO Denizcilik, which provides electronics and software services for 10 years in the sector, was held in Istanbul Kozyatağı Hilton Hotel yesterday (14 January). Danalec CEO Hans Otosene took the opening speech as the first speaker in the seminar held by YDDO Maritime General Manager Kutlay Ünlü. Hans Otosene, who made a presentation about the new incoming standards about ECDIS in the last 1 year, answered the questions after the presentation. After Hans Otosan, Prof.Dr Serdar Kum from Istanbul Technical University Maritime Faculty, Instructors Ender Yalçın and Yunus Emre Şenol informed the participants about the future of E-Navigation. “E-navigation is a constantly growing and evolving space, and it should not remain as the first in the mappings and should keep pace with change,” said Kjell Nodland, NAVTOR International Sales Manager, who delivered a presentation on the next generation of electronic maps. After Kjell Nodland, Danalec International Sales Manager Gergery Tas informed about products that meet the new standards. Following the presentations, YDDO Marine General Manager Kutlay Ünlü, who spoke once again, thanked everyone for their participation after the question-and-answer section.
